I recently received the Golden Tarot by Lo Scarabeo, and have been using it, gettng a feel for its energy and whatnot. I must admit, although the deck does bridge a gap between me and the traditional RWS, I have to thank Jack of Wands for introducing me to, by far, my favorite amazing beautiful deck, the Medieval Scapini. Me and this deck have this incredible symbiotic, beneficial, colorful and intuitive relationship that I have not found with another tarot deck. This deck put me off obsessively purchasing other tarot decks. Which is quite a feat and I feel content and satisfied.

Back to the matter at hand, I have been playing around with the Golden Universal and so far I like it, although, one minor gripe I have is that most of the ladies depicted are blond, what’s up with that Lo Scarabeo? Diversity?

I have done several random readings and it flows nicely, and I do love the shinyness of the deck, very glamorous. Here is today’s read:

Basically, today calls for subtlety and deliberation. I am certainly advised to weigh all the options presented to me today, and to be discreet, not taking in more than I can handle. Discretion, deliberation and patience.
