    Halfway between making the decision, Alice knows she has to proceed. Her willpower is waning from the mental exertion of debating which path to take. On one side, the path she initially wants to take pulls her arm and promises riches and happiness. Yet, truthfully, she hides secrets under sleeve. What she promises is stale and unfruitful, vacuous dreams that later turns into despair and constraints. Alice doesn’t know this but again she is tired. Cupid is about to play a trick and make the decision easier for Alice. Cupid points his arrow towards the other option, the undesired road, the woman that is showing Alice the way while taking off her cloak, lightening her load. Alice, of course, falls under the designs of cupid and follows the road that leads to the unknown.

  • Storytelling with the knight of coins

    A bright youth is gearing up, venturing into new horizons. Struck by a sudden idea that was birthed out of a spontaneous impulse, the youth charges ahead, full of the fire of this new idea, forging forward into the unknown. Unfortunately for those close, loved ones are being affected by this new adventure, because it takes the youth far from the places of comfort, from those loved ones. Emotions are strained. This new adventure shocks those close but the youth is nonplussed, seeking arduously for new places, new spaces and new people. What lies ahead is not yet known, the horizon tells no tales. Nonetheless there is hope, and the youth has the tools, the will, and the ability to bring something into fruition. Positive and maybe even impetuous beginnings that might or might not lead to a fruitful harvest. The youth rolls the dices and forges ahead. IMG_20160505_225437

  • Dailies

    I’ve been feeling a little out of sync lately and decided today to do a compass spread, I stumbled upon it while perusing the forums in aeclectic.com a few days ago. I liked the spread and wrote it down so I could try it later. Today is later, so here it is:

    It was a bit difficult to photograph because of the size.

    I didn’t have a clear question formulated, I have found myself preferring doing spreads that way, just letting the cards speak for themselves. I simply channeled my current energies, my thoughts, desires and worries and let the cards speak to me. What I found was a reiteration of balance, direction and prudence. The cards were telling me to weigh my actions, my thoughts, and my ambitions, to be prudent in my spending, to follow my vision without faltering and to be honest with loved ones.

    I have also begun including runes in my readings and they have worked marvelously.

    I definitely need to pay attention to my physical world, to my actions and how I spend my time, my thoughts and my money. This spread could not be more clear on balance and prudence, especially since big changes are coming this summer with the move.
