what happens when the questions change form?

It’s been more than a minute since I’ve plunged into this little place that is my website. I began this endeavor about 11 years ago now, and it certianly has grown and changed over time, just like my tarot collection, which I ended up culling considerably some years ago. This is one of the reasons I’ve now come back here, thinking with tools and how we shape each other, we shape tools, tools shape us.

And also with the experience of playing and writing and creating with this website all these years. I draw now, much better than when I began, and I also paint, and I sew clothes, and I bake bread, and I tend to a little garden. All sorts of happenings have grown around this endeavor that is my website. And we are still here, even after much debate. Still reading, still writing.

I recently lost someone very special to me, and this loss has me reminiscing, in the best way, on the things that matter, and what I’ve carried and put aside along the way. When I began this website it was a question of games and fun, then it transformed into explorations and adventures with things, with tarot and cards, with magic, with books, with scrying, with the stars.

The questions driving me have changed form, I’ve changed, times have changed, there is more to all the things I do, there are deeper relationships involved too.

This whole website has become a treasure chest or a nest of treasures I hold dear and share with, with whomever encounters it. I always envisioned this place as an encounter and a vehicle through which I can meet others, have conversations, and share.

These ruminations are a way for me to break the ice and recommence, retake the adventure with relish, with openness. My latest exploration with the constellations and their stories, which began with Aquarius will continue, hopefully providing audio readings of the writing (which I record with my voice). I don’t think I announced this here when it was released but my aquarian exploraitons led to a beautfiul talismanic collaboration with Matt Dragonstone, the talisman jeweler.

So all this to say, here is to more, more years of writing, of creating, of exploration, of sharing.

PS. Since it is Saint John’s the Baptist’s feast day today, here is an oldie on using cards for dreaming. Dreaming with Tarot.
